Student Transcripts of Grades and Certificates of Graduation
Bunka Suginami Canadian International School (BSCIS) does not provide speculative “predicted grades” for any purpose.
Detailed information on grading can be found on the official student transcripts issued by the British Columbia Ministry of Education and Child Care (BCMOE) and/or on student report cards (which contain unofficial grades) issued by BSCIS.
Upon successful graduation, students earn a British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma) with final grades for graduating Grade 12 students typically becoming available on STS in March of their final academic year.

Current parents and students may request from BSCIS at any time a certified copy of a most recently issued student report card (成績表のコピー). Student report cards are issued three times per academic year: in July, December, and March.
As per reporting guidelines, student progress is reported via the Provincial Proficiency Scale for Grades 7 to 9, and via percentage for Grades 10 to 12.
Dependent on an individual post-secondary institution's policies, copies of report cards certified by BSCIS may satisfy their application requirements. However, only the BCMOE can issue official transcripts.
※Please note that although secondary school begins with Grade 8 in most school districts within the Province of British Columbia, Canada, that British Columbia student transcripts only report final grades from a student's Grade 10, 11, and 12 years.
